Gab Titui Indigenous Art Award 2008

Launched in 2008, the Gab Titui Indigenous Art Award aims to enhance the quantity and quality of Torres Strait Island art. The award gives local artists professional experience in exhibition protocol, whilst recognising excellence in art and craft. The catalogue contains images of each artwork and stories written by the artists explaining the imagery and cultural significance of each piece.
